Hearts In A Frame

Hearts In A Frame

“Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only true friends leave footprints in your heart.” Eleanor Roosevelt

One of my goals for the year is to reduce the amount of “stuff” we buy, including the craft supplies we buy. Kiara did a big clear out in her room and bought me a box of frames she had. They don’t have glass in, so are perfect to use for different craft activities like this Hearts in a Frame decoration. I do have some more cool things planned for the rest of the frames.

You will be surprised by how much stuff you have lying around your home that can be used in your arts and crafts activities. It can also be fun finding ways to use up items you have lying around collecting dust!

Washi tape is also one of these great items to always keep in your craft box and I stocked up recently with a bumper pack from Amazon. It had rolls for each different holiday throughout the year as well as some plain colours. There is so much you can do with washi tape and it just adds colour and fun to whatever craft you are doing.

I am thinking of keeping this frame and changing the decor inside to suit each new holiday because it really came out so nicely.

Love the idea of reusing and recycling. There is always way too much stuff in a house that can be put to great use for a craft project.

I love the idea, we as well found out that we are total consumers of everything, and then just through away lots of stuff.
